The Sunset Empire Park and Recreation District was formed on February 14, 1969, with
Sunset Pool opening in 1977. Since then, the Bob Chisholm Community & Senior Center
and the Seaside Youth Center have all been developed to serve the residents of our
community. My staff and I are excited to share all of the extraordinary services of our
comprehensive Park and Recreation District! We invite you to participate in FUN and

The Park and Recreation District
Follows School District #10 but Excludes
the Cities of Gearhart and Cannon Beach.
A resident is one who lives or pays property tax within
the District Boundaries.
